Australian 4WD offers a wide range of advanced driver competencies from the National Outdoor Recreation, Foresty, Mining and the Transport and Logistics industry, including: TLIC107C: Low Risk Defensive Driving; PMASUP236A: Operate Vehicles in the field; SRODRV001B&2B: Drive a 4WD vehicle in difficult terrain; SRODRV003B: Co-ordinate recovery of a 4WD vehicle; MNCG1061A: Operate Light Vehicle (Surface coal operations); MNMEGS312A: Drive & Recover a 4WD vehicle (Metalliferous Mining). We have undergone a compliance audit against the Australia and New Zealand Health and Safety Standard 4801 and achieved an outstanding 91% compliance. Our Trainers  Our Trainers are well qualified and experienced. We believe experience is something that is gained over many years and developed by dealing with many and varied situations. Our trainers have over 20 years experience each in the driver-training field. They have not only had experience of 4 Wheel Drives but a range of off road vehicles and have gained this experience from dealing with “real” situations in varying environments and conditions. They also have expert technical and training skills.Driving a Four Wheel Drive or off-road capable vehicles efficiently requires skill. In order to develop these skills, there are techniques that need to be learnt and practiced. The incorrect use of techniques develops into poor skills and improper practices. Poor driving habits in a Four Wheel Drive can unknowingly increase your maintenance costs considerably and, certainly in the case of a 4WD, the repercussions can be expensive - and at most, life threatening...
