To ensure that this policy and our practice met the appropriate standards, Australian 4WD underwent a compliance audit against the Australia and New Zealand Health and Safety Standard 4801. This was a stringent audit, however an outstanding compliance of 96% was achieved. After having achieved such a good result at compliance audit we are now providing training to large corporate organisations which have some of the most stringent Health and safety requirements within Australia.</p> <p align="justify">Today greater emphasis is placed on the ‘duty of care’ of the employer to their employees in relation to driving of a motor vehicle, particularly a four wheel drive, within the work environment. Too often, people are injured and vehicles damaged are due to inexperience or lack of appreciation of potential hazards. Training can significantly reduce the risk to both human, physical resources and the environment. We frequently hear of serious injuries and regrettably fatalities particularly in relation to the incorrect use of recovery equipment.
