Australian 4WD has a new off road training area

motto

Site Specific / Training Areas

Australian 4WD has designed and constructed a 4WD training area near Petrie (North of Brisbane).  It consists of an introductory, intermediate, and advanced course in addition to an obstacle course.

The obstacle course is primarily for training. It allows participants to fully understand the vehicle capabilities, whilst developing skills and confidence in a supervised environment. It is an excellent facility that provides course participants with an opportunity to more fully understand the features of the 4WD and to negotiate obstacles using a range of techniques.

There are a number of accommondation options around the petrie area, if required.

Australian 4WD endeavours to develop a training course, in-keeping with the terrain and to meet the training needs of the client and their employees.  Our courses are completely portable as we specialise in the design and implementation of client specific and site specific training.  We also have a number of training areas throughout Queensland, which can be utilised to conduct the training.

Australian 4WD have training areas in the following locations;

Brisbane North & South,
Gatton,
Gladstone,
Rockhampton,
Roma.

Moranbah,
Mackay,
Townsville,
Cairns.

Murwulimbah (NSW),
Newcastle (NSW),
Mittagong (NSW),
Victoria,
South Australia.

On-Site Training: Australian 4WD specialise in the design and implementation of client specific and site specific driver training, aimed to considerably reduce the incidence of accidents, breakdown in the workplace and minimal disruption to shift routine.

A specially constructed track can be created with minimal disruption to the area and minor impact on the environment.

Australian 4WD Courses are completely portable allowing staff to be trained in locations familiar to their day to day use of 4WD and other off road vehicles.

Make Specific Course: At Australian 4WD, we believe that every client has a specific and individual need. In each case a Needs Analysis is conducted to define the requirements and refine course content to ensure that the training plan suits the specific requirements of the Employer and Trainee. A major component of the teaching process with on-site training is maintaining the interest level of course participants.

Australian 4WD are specialists in off road and on road Defensive Driver Training and are able to design, write and develop "make-specific" courses. Our "make-specific" courses are structured to suit individual requirements. Any changes to our learning program for “make-specific” courses are negotiated with the organisation.
