Wherever you may travel, either in a workplace situation or for recreational activities and whether by a 2WD or 4WD vehicle, there is a likelihood that you will have to contend with having to cross a body of water at some time. The further you travel the more likely that this will be the case. Crossing water can be as safe as any other obstacle providing the correct preparation and planning has been carried out.

On this One Day Course we offer instruction in the preparation and planning for the crossing of deep water in a 4WD vehicle. You will learn what to look for at a crossing; learn how to prepare your 4WD to cross creeks and rivers; how to drive across and what to do afterwards.

For those attending the Course who wish to learn how to cross deep water crossing that is too deep to drive, we will demonstrate the procedures that can be followed should such a situation arise in your travels. This is an optional component.
